About Us

Helene Greenberg is the Founder and Executive Director of Triangle Vegfest. She organized the inaugural Vegfest in October 2014. Prior to organizing the Vegfest, Helene lived a vegan lifestyle for 2 years and a vegetarian lifestyle for over 20. She created Triangle Vegfest to help educate the Triangle community about easy ways to reap the health benefits of a plant-based diet, provide a marketplace for vegan-friendly businesses to promote their offerings, and encourage local restaurants to offer vegan menu options.

TVF has expanded their events to five states, NC, SC, GA, FL and TN. We host 10 festivals a year and are always looking for new ways to expand our reach. Check out vegfestexpos.com for a full schedule.

Helene has a Masters of Education from American Public University with a specialization in school counseling, as well as extensive experience in sales, project management and real estate.

Helene has a passion for helping animals and people. She has also gone into classrooms to teach high school students about the environment, health, and animal welfare. She is an avid hockey fan and enjoys spending time with Lady, Marshal, Frannie (pups), and Rocky, her cat.
